Threshers Rally to Nose Past Brevard County
The Clearwater Threshers topped the Brevard County Manatees, 2-1, in Florida State League action at Bright House Field. The standout performance belonged to Clearwater pitcher and Bellingham, Washington, native Ben Perry. The win went to Jeremy Jackson in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Jerry Ross took the loss. Clearwater goes to 31-29, Brevard County to 18-42.

The decisive blow was delivered by Luis Trevino in the bottom of the 11th when he hit a run-scoring double off 22-year old left-handed pitcher Jerry Ross to win the game for Clearwater. The home crowd went nuts.

"I just trusted my stuff," said Perry.
