Getting a good performance from second baseman Robbie Blankenbeckler, the Dunedin Blue Jays defeated the Jupiter Hammerheads, 5-4. Blankenbeckler went 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Blue Jays. Ron Waters snagged the win in relief. He goes to 2-1 on the season. José Sánchez suffered the loss. Dunedin is now 33-31, Jupiter 38-25.

The game was decided with no one out in the bottom of the ninth. With Dunedin trailing 4-3, Blankenbeckler jumped on a changeup from former first round draft pick José Sánchez and hit a 2-run home run to left-center. With one swing, the Blue Jays had a walk-off win.

"No one can call baseball boring," said Blue Jays manager Jose Mejia. "Not after a game like that."
