Hammerheads Trip Blue Jays, 8-7, in Extra Innings
The Dunedin Blue Jays and Jupiter Hammerheads provided some drama for the home crowd.

The performance of Tony Vásquez proved critical in helping Jupiter beat Dunedin, 8-7, in 15 innings. The Hammerheads second baseman went 3 for 6 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. With the win, Jupiter pushed its record to 40-25.

The game was at a stalemate until right fielder Steve Hawkins came to bat in the top of the 15th. Facing Dunedin pitcher Steve Collins, he hit a 0-1 fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Jupiter on top, 8-7.

"There's no quit in this team," said Hammerheads manager Mike Mordecai.
