Multi-HR Game for Jacobs in 11-8 Win

The game between Lakeland and Dunedin is in the books, despite a little rain.
Chris Jacobs knocked in 6 runs to help Lakeland beat Dunedin, 11-8. The Long Branch, New Jersey native tallied 1 single and 2 home runs. Lakeland reliever Juan Ortega was the winner. His record is now 6-1. The losing pitcher was Jerry Pagán.
With Lakeland leading 4-0 in the top of the fifth, Jacobs came up to bat against Dunedin pitcher Jerry Pagán. Jacobs hit a fastball to left for a grand slam home run. His 3rd home run of the season put the Flying Tigers on top, 8-0.
"I feel like a little kid every time I put the uniform on," said Jacobs.
The FSL North-leading Flying Tigers are 73-34.
