Jorge Vargas pitched a gem to lead Dunedin to victory over the Clearwater Threshers, 2-0. In 6.1 innings, Vargas surrendered 3 hits, while striking out 3 and walking 2. He allowed no runs. Ron Waters, credited with the save, is now 19 for 23 in save opportunities.
