Jason Sellars, who is tied for 10th in the FSL with a 3.28 ERA, was locked in. The right-hander led the Tampa Yankees to a 5-3 win against the Clearwater Threshers at George M. Steinbrenner Field. Mac Kramer earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2.1 innings. He upped his record to 4-6. The third-place Threshers have lost 5 straight games.

Steve Adams went 2-4 with a double for Tampa. The 23-year old right fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With no one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 3-3 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off José Ortíz. It was his 20th RBI of the season.

"Jason is tough to beat when he's hitting his spots," said Tampa manager Justin Smoak.
