Cox goes 3-for-4 to Fuel Mets Offense
The St. Lucie Mets grabbed a win, 9-7, over the Tampa Yankees at Tradition Field. St. Lucie center fielder Bobby Cox went 3 for 4 with a home run and a triple, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 4. With the win, St. Lucie upped its record to 68-58.

With St. Lucie leading 4-0 in the bottom of the second, Cox batted against Tampa pitcher Jesús Bartolo. Cox hit a slider to right for a 3-run home run. His 1st home run of the season put the Mets on top, 7-0.

"I was just going up there trying to see good pitches, that was about it," said Cox.
