The Daytona Tortugas topped the Clearwater Threshers, 7-6, in 10 innings at Jackie Robinson Ballpark. The game was highlighted by the performance of Daytona pitcher Ben Carpenter. The Tortugas improved their record to 66-61 with the win over Clearwater.

In the bottom of the tenth, Ricky Vaughan knew he could end it with one good swing of the bat. And he did, hitting a run-scoring single off Clearwater pitcher Daniel Brunt.

"Enough drama for you?" winked Tortugas manager Mac Stewart after the game.
