Threshers Win Squeaker, 5-4, Over Flying Tigers
The Clearwater Threshers knocked off the Lakeland Flying Tigers, 5-4, at Bright House Field. Lou Bannatyne was a big reason Clearwater won. The shortstop was 5-7 with 5 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. José Castro, who is tied for 4th in the FSL in holds with 8, was the winner in relief. His record is now 3-4. The losing pitcher was Robby Ford. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for the Threshers.

The Threshers got a clutch hit from right fielder Joe Norman. In the bottom of the 13th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Threshers.
