The Bowling Green Hot Rods did just enough to secure a victory over the Fort Wayne TinCaps, 7-6, in 10 innings at Bowling Green Ballpark. Nobody did more than third baseman Greg Lewis. Bowling Green has won 4 consecutive games.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With one out, Lewis hit a fastball from Jerry Martin for a run-scoring single. The Hot Rods, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
