No one was more impactful than Juan López in the 8-4 Bowling Green win over Dayton. López, who is tied for 7th in the MID in runs scored with 39, went 4 for 5 with a triple and 3 singles, while scoring 2 runs. With the victory, the Hot Rods upped their record to 33-27.

In the bottom of the 2nd, Bowling Green took the lead on a 2-run single by Doug Williams. At the time, the Hot Rods were trailing 1-0, but Williams's hit with two outs against Dayton pitcher Bao-tian Liu put them in front, 2-1.

"We did more than enough to get the win," said Williams.
