Hot Rods Lose to Dragons in Walk-Off
Dayton shortstop Octávio Padilla made his presence felt in the 7-6 Dragons triumph over the Bowling Green Hot Rods. Padilla was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. The setback makes Bowling Green 36-41.

The game was decided with two out in the bottom of the ninth. With Dayton trailing 6-4, Padilla jumped on a fastball from 23-year old left-handed pitcher Felipe Melle and hit a 3-run home run to left-center. With one swing, the Dragons had a walk-off win.

"Just glad I could help us get a win," said Padilla.
