Dragons Pick Up 10-3 Win Against Bowling Green
|
The Dayton Dragons picked up a win at Bowling Green Ballpark, knocking off the Bowling Green Hot Rods, 10-3. Starting pitcher António Lara played a key role in the triumph. Lara, now 7-7, was the winner. In 8.1 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 4, walking 0, and allowing 3 runs. Dayton goes to 43-61, Bowling Green to 49-55.
Dayton used the hitting of Lou Jones to pick up the win. The first baseman clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Dragons on top, 3-0. For the game, Jones had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
