Hot Rods Earn Late Win
Behind an impressive start by Steve Brown, Bowling Green beat Lansing, 2-1. Bowling Green reliever Les Salazar picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Bob Davis was saddled with the loss. Today's win puts Bowling Green at 63-48, while Lansing falls to 58-53.

Bowling Green took a 2-1 lead on Chris Jones's 31st double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Jones hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Lansing pitcher Bob Davis visibly frustrated.

"That's baseball," said Lansing manager Corey Ragsdale. "You're not always going to be hitting on all cylinders."
