Nashville Defeats Fresno Monday, September 29th , 2025 The Nashville Sounds ignited a huge celebration as they beat the Fresno Grizzlies 1-0 to win the Round 2. Nashville won the series 4-2, capturing the title for the 1st time. "We stepped it up at the right time, and now we're the champs," said Nashville manager Steve Scarsone. "It's a great feeling." The champs finished the regular season 83-59 and claimed first place in the American Conference North Division. In the jubilant clubhouse after the decisive game, series MVP and right fielder Michael Conforto said the Sounds have "great fans and they deserve this."
