Salt Lake Bees Ace Named PC Most Valuable Player Award Tuesday, October 14th , 2025
Fans of the Salt Lake Bees are hoping there are many more awards to come for their talented ace, Leon Moss.
At the age of only 22, the star pitcher has been named the Pacific Conference Most Valuable Player Award winner for 2025.
"We knew Moss was a special player, but I don't think anyone expected him to get this good, this fast," the Salt Lake manager said.
Moss's dominant season saw him throw 186 innings, with a 2.42 ERA and .222 opponent's batting average. He had a record of 16-6 through 25 starts and compiled a 3.4 WAR along the way.
He received 10 first place votes out of a possible 16. Sean Vaughan of the Reno Aces finished second in voting with 4 first place votes, while Mario Pacheco of the Sacramento River Cats finished third with 1 first place vote.
