Grizzlies Benson Smacks 5 Hits Wednesday, June 10th , 2026 Dave Benson of the Grizzlies was unstoppable in his team's 14-2 victory over the Reno Aces at Aces Ballpark. He battered them for 5 hits in 7 at-bats. "Boy, I was on the mark today," said the Fresno shortstop after the game. "I could see the ball real well. It's a great feeling to do this. And besides, 5-for-7 won't hurt your batting average like 0-for-5 will." Dave Benson doubled in the 1st, hit a three-run double in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, flied out in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 8th and hit a two-run double in the 9th.
