Fresno Downs Salt Lake as Solís Tosses 6-0 Shutout Monday, August 31st , 2026 The Salt Lake Bees manager was philosophical in the clubhouse following a shutout loss to the Fresno Grizzlies. The Bees were overpowered by Fresno starter António Solís, who hurled his club to victory, 6-0. "It was just one of those games -- shake it off and do better next time," Tom Prince said. Over 9 innings, Solís blanked Salt Lake on 8 hits with 1 walk and 6 strikeouts. "I kept them off balance. I could tell a lot of them were late on fastballs because they were fouling them off. Once you see that, it sets them up for other pitches," Solís said. "I set them up, where if they chased one breaking ball, they were going to chase another one." To date this season, Solís has compiled a 7-8 record with a 4.29 ERA in 16 starts. View Boxscore |
