Bakersfield Moves on to Round 2 Monday, September 15th , 2025 The Bakersfield Blaze "bent but didn't break" against the San Jose Giants in the Round 1. That's according to Marc Reynolds of Bakersfield, who was named series MVP. "Our guys faced adversity and overcame it. This series wasn't easy, but we stuck to our game and made it work," he said. Bakersfield won the final game by a 12-2 count and the series 3-1. Reynolds's MVP performance included hitting .529 with a .579 on-base percentage. He also had 1 home runs, drove in 4 RBI and scored 5 runs. The Bakersfield Blaze will play against the Lancaster JetHawks in the next round.
