Méndez Keeps Hit Streak Alive Sunday, June 7th , 2026 José Méndez's bat has been smoking lately, and it continued today as he went 1-for-4 in his team's 4-1 triumph over the Inland Empire 66ers at San Manuel Stadium. The 21-year-old center fielder has now hit safely in 20 consecutive games for the Rawhide. José Méndez grounded out in the 2nd, struck out in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th and singled in the 9th.
