Ferguson Extends Hit Streak to 20 Games Sunday, June 21st , 2026 Inland Empire lost to the Bakersfield Blaze, 7-3, at San Manuel Stadium, but Charlie Ferguson kept his consecutive-game hitting streak alive with 3 hits. The 66ers second baseman has now delivered hits in 20 straight games. "Charlie has a nice streak going, but the scoreboard tells the important story today," Inland Empire manager Kent Matthes told reporters after the game. "We lost, no matter how many hits anyone had." Charlie Ferguson hit an RBI double in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, flied out in the 5th, singled in the 8th and flied out in the 9th.
