Inland Empire Loses Espinosa for Season Wednesday, July 8th , 2026 Team officials for the Inland Empire 66ers confirmed that a stretched elbow ligament will force José Espinosa to miss the rest of the season. Espinosa sustained the injury on 07/06/2026. It remains to be seen who will replace Espinosa on the active roster. This season, Espinosa has recorded no saves with a 3-2 record.
