Holmes Stretches Hit String to 20 Tuesday, July 29th , 2025 The hitting streak for Brevard County first baseman Brad Holmes now stands at 20 games, but the Manatees dropped today's contest 11-10 to the Clearwater Threshers. Holmes went 1-for-6 in the game. "Things went well for me personally," he said. "I got 1 hit and the streak keeps going. But we didn't win the game." Brad Holmes hit an RBI single in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, struck out in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, flied out in the 6th and flied out in the 8th. In 87 games this season, Holmes has batted at a .314 pace with 112 hits and 7 home runs. |
