20-Game Hitting Streak for Mullins Wednesday, August 20th , 2025 Chalk up another one for Dunedin Blue Jays second baseman Kevin Mullins. He now has hit in 20 straight games. Mullins went 2-for-5 in today's game at Hammond Stadium but saw his club defeated, 15-7, by the host Fort Myers Miracle. "Playing on the road always makes it harder to get hits and to get wins," Blue Jays manager Caden Smith said after the game. "We got one of the two, but unfortunately it was the wrong one." Kevin Mullins hit an RBI single in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, struck out in the 6th and struck out in the 8th. This year, Mullins is hitting .307 with 120 hits, 4 home runs, 36 RBIs and has scored 36 runs. |
