Dunedin Snaps Boyd Streak at 20 Sunday, July 12th , 2026 The 20-game hitting streak of Alex Boyd has come to an end. The St. Lucie Mets catcher went 0-for-3 in his team's 5-3 loss to the Dunedin Blue Jays at Tradition Field. "It's not just Alex who came up short," Mets manager Jorge Hernandez said in his postgame press conference. "This was a team loss."
