July's Best Hurler in FSL is Garza Saturday, August 1st , 2026 The Florida State League made it official today -- Juan Garza of the Fort Myers Miracle is the Pitcher of the Month. In July he impressed the sportswriters with his domination of league hitters. Garza made 6 starts, registered 4 wins and 1 loss with a solid 1.08 ERA. In 33.1 innings he allowed 28 hits, racked up 26 strikeouts, walked 13 and permitted teams to hit .219 against him. This year, Garza has compiled a 6-7 record with a 2.89 ERA in 16 starts. |
