Hit Streak for Stroud Reaches 20 Saturday, August 29th , 2026 Billy Stroud, center fielder for the Jupiter Hammerheads, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games with 3 hits in his club's 5-4 victory over the Brevard County Manatees at Space Coast Stadium. "Not the outcome we wanted," Brevard County manager Jeremy Hernandez said. "There's never a good time to lose, and it's never fun to be on the wrong end of somebody else's accomplishment." Billy Stroud doubled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Mike Mathews in the 3rd, walked in the 5th, flied out in the 6th, flied out in the 8th and singled in the 10th. Stroud is hitting .363 for the season with 6 home runs, 52 RBIs and 55 runs scored. He has 142 hits in 391 at-bats and played in 103 games. |
