Injury Shuts Down Rankin for Season Monday, June 16th , 2025 In a news release, the Hickory Crawdads announced that starting pitcher Dave Rankin would miss the rest of the season due to a stretched elbow ligament. Rankin sustained the injury on 06/14/2025. He "will be sorely missed," said his manager. This season, Rankin has worked 39.1 innings with 39 strikeouts en route to a 2-3 record and a 2.06 ERA. |
