Super Month Nets Parker #1 Batter Prize in SAL Monday, September 1st , 2025 Deron Parker put together a good August to earn the South Atlantic League Batter of the Month prize. A virtual unknown, he made the most of his chance to prove to Savannah officials that he belongs on the big league roster. The Sand Gnats first baseman posted a .342 batting average with 5 home runs, 16 RBIs and 18 runs scored. Looking at his season stats, Parker has compiled a .321 batting average and a .409 on-base percentage, while hitting 6 home runs and driving in 20 runs. |
