Firebirds García Sizzles with Cycle Wednesday, September 3rd , 2025 Luis García hit for the cycle and paced the Rome Firebirds to a win, 10-3, against the Charleston RiverDogs at State Mutual Stadium. The Firebirds center fielder led the way for his club with 4 hits in 4 at-bats -- 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run -- along with 5 RBI and 4 runs. "Now that I know what Luis is capable of, I'm going to expect it more often," Rome manager Aaron Holbert joked with reporters after the game. Luis García walked in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off José Ramos in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI double in the 6th and hit a two-run triple in the 8th.
