Sunday, October 5th , 2025
At the age of 23, Pete Bryan says he still has a lot to learn about life in South Atlantic League.
But he certainly seems to be a quick study, as the Augusta GreenJackets reliever was better than all others this year and has captured the 2025 South Atlantic League Reliever of the Year.
"I hope to win this a few more times before all is said and done in my career," the Dennis, Massachusetts native said.
For the season, Bryan had 36 saves in 53 relief appearances, which totaled 57.1. He fanned 63 betters, while walking 20 and put up a record of 4-5 to go with his 1.57 ERA.
He received 8 first place votes out of a possible 14. Mitch Davis of the Lexington Legends finished second in voting with 4 first place votes, while Lou Riley of the Rome Firebirds finished third with 2 first place votes.
