Anderson Gets 5 Hits Saturday, May 2nd , 2026 Today at State Mutual Stadium, the Rome Hammers fell to the Hickory Crawdads despite a splendid performance by left fielder Bob Anderson. Anderson had an exceptional day at the plate, tagging Crawdads pitching for 5 base hits, but it was not enough for Rome to come away with the win. Hickory whipped Rome by a score of 6-5. Bob Anderson singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, doubled in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
