Charleston's Lane Diagnosis Revealed

In a news release, the Charleston RiverDogs announced that starting pitcher Lou Lane would miss the rest of the season due to a ruptured finger tendon. Lane sustained the injury on 05/25/2026. He "will be sorely missed," said his manager.
Up to now Lane has recorded a record of 4-4. In 10 starts he has fanned 71 batters in 67 innings with a 1.75 ERA.
