Grasshoppers Connolly June's Top Hurler Wednesday, July 1st , 2026 The South Atlantic League announced the winner of the Pitcher of the Month Award. It went to relief ace Brit Connolly of Greensboro for his outstanding work on the mound. During the month, Connolly stood out with no saves in no save opportunities, a 1.16 ERA and 5 wins and no losses. In 31 innings he struck out 34 and gave up 25 hits and 5 walks. So far this season, Connolly has a 11-4 won-lost record with 1 save. He has made 31 relief appearances, logged 98 innings and fanned 97 batters while fashioning a 3.40 ERA and allowing the opposition a .269 batting average. |
