Injury Sidelines Jordan for Season Tuesday, July 7th , 2026 Chip Jordan had hoped for the best, but expected the worst. Today, he learned from the Lakewood medical staff that he would miss the rest of the season. The Lakewood third baseman suffered a ruptured disc in an earlier ballgame. He admitted to being discouraged, but said he plans to come back strong next year. A look at his current stats shows Jordan with a .215 average, 8 home runs, 24 RBIs and 17 runs scored.
