Perdue Stadium, he made his case to be considered among that group. The 21-year-old catcher hammered 5 hits in 6 chances, though the remarkable effort came even as his Augusta GreenJackets fell, 6-5, to the Delmarva Shorebirds. "We made some bad pitches and he took advantage of it," Shorebirds manager Tripp Keister told BNN sportswriters after the game. "Thankfully, we were able to do enough elsewhere that Gutiérrez wasn't the difference."
