SAL Player of the Week Named Monday, August 17th , 2026 The South Atlantic League made it official today: Steve Day is the Player of the Week. He really sparkled on the diamond this week with a .591 average to take home the trophy. The Hickory second baseman went 13-for-22, drove in 4 runs, scored 4 times and hit no home runs. On the season, Day is batting .312 with 5 home runs and 42 RBIs. He has played in 105 games. |
