South Atlantic League Names Top Player Monday, August 24th , 2026 The South Atlantic League has selected its Player of the Week. The honor went to Mike Owens, third baseman of the Lexington Legends. In a standout performance, he lit up the league with a .429 average to win the award. Owens went 9-for-21 for the week, totaled 2 home runs with 9 RBIs and scored 5 times. To date Owens has chalked up a .356 average with 5 home runs, driven in 14 runs and scored 8 times. |
