Hit Streak for López Reaches 25 Monday, August 31st , 2026 Orlando López's hitting streak is becoming the talk of Hickory. The 23-year-old center fielder extended it once again, this time bringing it to 25 games with a 1-for-3 performance against the Lakewood BlueClaws. The Crawdads won the game, 2-1. "People are starting to bring it up to me when I'm around town," he said. "It's getting stressful." Orlando López flied out in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, singled in the 6th and walked in the 8th. At present, López is batting .317 with 125 hits and 10 home runs. He has knocked in 44 runs and scored 57 times. |
