Un-four-gettable: Villalobos Hits for Cycle Monday, July 14th , 2025 Octávio Villalobos was jubilant as the Houston 1 (DSL) Astros Blue left the field with a win, 18-9, over the Cleveland (DSL) Guardians. He had every right to be. The 20-year-old left fielder hit for the cycle at Cleveland Spiders Complex, had a 4-for-6 game and added 3 runs batted in and 2 runs to boot. "It's too bad I can't do that every day," Villalobos said with a smile to reporters after the game. "It would do wonders for my batting average." Houston 1 (DSL) manager Ryan Christenson was "proud" of the left fielder's feat, but was not expecting it to happen. "Cycles are tough because triples are tough," the skipper said. "As soon as the ball left the bat on that triple, guys were jumping off the bench for him. Honestly, I wasn't sure he was going to be able to leg it out." Octávio Villalobos doubled in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Dan O'Halloran in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, hit an RBI triple in the 8th and flied out in the 9th.
