Rangers Torpedoed by Jordan in 7-0 Loss to New York A (DSL) Friday, August 8th , 2025 The Texas (DSL) Rangers manager was philosophical in the clubhouse following a shutout loss to the New York A (DSL) Yankees 1. The Rangers were overpowered by New York A (DSL) starter Eddie Jordan, who hurled his club to victory, 7-0. "It was just one of those games -- shake it off and do better next time," Louis Coleman said. Over 9 innings, Jordan blanked Texas (DSL) on 1 hit with 2 walks and 12 strikeouts. "I kept them off balance. I could tell a lot of them were late on fastballs because they were fouling them off. Once you see that, it sets them up for other pitches," Jordan said.
