Red-Hot Flores Cools Off St. Louis (DSL)

Orlando Flores of the Seattle (DSL) Mariners humiliated the St. Louis (DSL) Cardinals at Las Palmas Complex, spinning a complete game shutout and holding the visitors to 7 hits.
"He stayed aggressive and his ball was really moving," said St. Louis (DSL) manager Alberto Castillo, after the game.
Flores whiffed 10 and walked 0 in the 8-0 win.
"If I make good pitches, I'm going to get some outs," Flores said. "I was making good pitches the entire game."
This season, Flores has a 3-6 mark in 9 starts with a 5.40 ERA. He has given up 63 hits in 53.1 innings, struck out 65 and issued 16 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .288 batting average against him.
