The Math Says - Chicago N (DSL) Out of Playoffs Tuesday, August 26th , 2025 It's now time for the Chicago N (DSL) Cubs to start turning their attention to what can be done to help improve the club for next season. The team was formally eliminated from playoff contention today for the 2025 season. "We knew a title was a long shot at this point, but mentally there's a big difference between a tiny chance and no chance at all," said Cubs starting pitcher Sammy Madden. The Cubs have missed the playoffs 10 times in their 11 years as a Dominican Rookie League franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 4th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2021. |
