Norwood Runs Hit String to 20 Straight Games Sunday, August 31st , 2025 Bob Norwood's bat has been smoking lately, and it continued today as he went 2-for-4 in his team's 7-1 triumph over the Seattle (DSL) Mariners at Las Palmas Complex. The 24-year-old second baseman has now hit safely in 20 consecutive games for the Mets 1. Bob Norwood hit a solo-shot off Orlando Flores in the 2nd, doubled in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th and grounded out in the 8th.
