Turner Skunks Boston (DSL), 7-0 Wednesday, September 3rd , 2025 The Boston (DSL) Red Sox were almost helpless in their 7-0 loss to the New York N (DSL) Mets 1 and hurler Duane Turner. Turner kept the Red Sox confused all game, spinning a 4-hit shutout. "Tip your hat to Turner," Boston (DSL) manager Reinaldo Ruiz said in a postgame interview. "He kept us off balance all night." The 21-year-old right-hander had 1 walk and 15 strikeouts in a strong performance. "It just happened to be one of those games where even when I made mistakes, they either fouled them off or someone would make a fine defensive play," Turner said. "It was just one of those games that things went my way." This season, Turner has compiled a 8-2 mark, 1.80 ERA and made 11 starts. View Boxscore |
