Atlanta (DSL) Clinches Wild Card Friday, September 5th , 2025 The manager of the Atlanta (DSL) Firebirds is reminding the city of Atlanta (DSL) to "keep the faith" as the team heads into the playoffs as a wild card team. "We believe in ourselves and we need our fans to believe in us too," said Blake Wood. "We know we can get Atlanta (DSL) rocking with a great run in the playoffs." It remains to be seen just how deep the Firebirds will be able to go in the playoffs, but confidence appears to be high. "We've got the team to win a championship, I firmly believe that," said third baseman Jon Holder. If the team is successful, it would be the 3rd Dominican Rookie League championship in franchise history. |
