New York N 2 (DSL) Moves on to League Series Tuesday, September 16th , 2025 Members of the New York N 2 (DSL) Mets 2 couldn't hold back their emotions after beating the Houston 1 (DSL) Astros Blue in the final game of the Division Series. "It's just been such a roller coaster," said Mets 2 starting pitcher Rob Simons after the club's 5-4 win. "You play all season and then everything comes down to this one game. We know how easily we could have been on the other side of it." The other side was a subdued Astros Blue clubhouse, where players packed up their belongings and headed home for the year, with a somber mood in the air. For the series, Simons was named MVP, as he had a 2.70 ERA over 3.1 innings pitched. He added 6 strikeouts and picked up no wins. The New York N 2 (DSL) Mets 2 will play against the Baltimore (DSL) Orioles 1 in the next round. Baltimore (DSL) won their series against the Tampa Bay (DSL) Rays 3 games to 0.
