Big Day for Corbett: Swats 5 Hits Tuesday, July 28th , 2026 DSL center fielder Mike Corbett had a big day at Philadelphia Phillies Complex against the DSL White Sox. The 20-year-old, who is not typically considered a big threat with the bat, went 5-for-5 and led to the 14-2 Phillies triumph over DSL. "Hey, I'm as surprised as you guys are," Corbett said in his postgame comments, smiling as he scolded the press corps for underestimating him. "Maybe I'm not so bad at the plate after all." Mike Corbett walked in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Juan Nieves in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, doubled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
