Garner Has Hot Hand, Bangs 5 hits Tuesday, August 25th , 2026 Ed Garner had an answer for everything the DSL Giants threw at him at Baseball City Complex. The DSL shortstop went 5-for-5 in the game to put his name in the record book and give the Diamondbacks a win, 5-4. Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Garner said, "I just see the ball and I hit it." Ed Garner singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 8th, singled in the 10th and walked in the 12th.
