Muñóz Hit Streak Reaches 20 Games Thursday, August 27th , 2026 Manny Muñóz of the DSL Red Sox tagged 1 hit in today's 10-1 loss to the DSL Athletics at Juan Marichal Complex to run his hitting streak to 20 straight games. "I realize it's unlikely to have a 20-game streak and not have a couple losses mixed in," he said later. "But it still takes the fun out of it." Manny Muñóz struck out in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, singled in the 6th and walked in the 8th. For the season, Muñóz is hitting at a .336 clip with 2 home runs, 11 RBIs and has scored 8 runs.
